Luna Lee Ray was born in Queens, N.Y. in 1964.
She received her BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland,
Or. in 1988,
majoring in printmaking with a focus on etching.
She has lived and shown her work in Oregon, Hawaii, Arizona, and New
Mexico, and now resides in Chapel Hill, N.C.
where she creates mixed media drawings and paintings.
She exhibits throughout the Triangle area, and is also a well-known
and respected instructor of
watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media classes.
